Gold Seal Support London Probation Learners

Following a mass of experience in successfully working with people who have not traditionally engaged with education or employment Gold Seal approached London Probation to see if we were able to further extend our remit to help those involved with London Probation learning schemes and offered a 30 hour accredited course under OCN syllabus which covered making music and sampling techniques.

The course was well attended with attentive, motivated learners that were eager to explore and gain useful information on new and emerging music technology practices. The course ran for 10 weeks at London Probations largest site in Europe with mobile workstations and all who completed the course now have the opportunity to further their learning locally in Stratford using a variety of further education options as well as look to progress into employment and plan music careers around their skills learnt to date.

All who attended worked hard and are testament to the program's core aims which are to empower learners to feel motivated by a new and emerging practices, identify transferrable skills as well as better themselves using music as a vehicle to engage and progress from.

With lots of positive, constructive feedback we are excited about being able to get more workshops running and look to the future where more learners will be able to reap the benefits of Gold Seal music technology training else where across the capital at London Probation sites.
